I have one of those little green Mini clocks :D.

That dash is looking lovely, I'm amazed it came out so glossy after some of the previous pictures.

LOL yea iv got loads of little minis like that.

Yea well it was only looking really flat in the last picture because i had been sanding it back and this gives a flatt finish, but i sanded it back using finer wet and dry, then once you spray the lacqure on it comes up like shown in the pics :shifty: im very pleased with the finish.

Well not much done today, as i had no one to tow me own to my house, so i can get the welding one. So hopefully ill be able to get that done tomorrow.

I did bring some metal and the welder to the house though, and had some welding practice, so the welds should be ok for the mini ^_^.

I also got the engine filled with oil, and stripped the **** flashing off the bulk head, atleast thats the last of it now lol.i then went round the whole mini with my box of grommits and filled all the holes lol

I then got the tank back in for hopefully the last time in a long time.

Cheers Dom :)

Well today iv got some of the main finishing jobs done

First up i cut the rot out the passanger floor, i then cut the patch, but i cut this to small, so the welding looks prety C**p as i had to drag it to fill some of the holes, but that was soon sorted and ended up giving a stong weld (tested by hitting it with a hammer alot of times as har as i could lol)

I then gave that all a coat of paint.

I then started cutting the drivers floor and slipped and ground some of my finger off, well that will teach me for grinding without the gaurd on ;) wont be doing that again, so i move the wires and pipe out the way and got rid of all the rot, i then atarted cutting the patch ready to fit, but after geinding for about 3+ hours today i didnt bother finishing off getting the patch right, so i got about 1/2 and stopped that, ill finish it tomorrow, and hopefully ill get it alot better than the partch the other side, i wish i just fitted the whole panel now.

Then before we called it day we bonded the roof on, lol this was quite fun haha, i applied the sealant to the roof then with Doms help we lined up the roof and started strapping it in place. i then checked inside and found that the roof wasnt quite sitting right so i propped it up with everything Dom could find haha. as i couldnt open the doors as they were strapped shut this became quite eventfull.

Thanks for the help today Dom, i really wouldnt have bothered doing anything today if you didnt come over as it was rianing.

not much left to do now ;)

This has to be finished for the 12th now  as thars when my summer ball is!

Should easily be done, concidering i was planning to have it done by the end of last month, but i was held up for a week waiting for parts, so following my original deadline it should be done by the 7th :techsupport:

Where'd you get the fog/reverse lights from? The CF roof is sexual.

I got them from Sams spares in herne bay mate, so just round the corner from you, im 99% sure they are the same lights used on land rovers...

Yea the weling is going ok, its nothing prety, but its storong, so thats all that matters to me :)

Well i was going to write up what we did today, but i cant be bothered lol

Iv still got to make another exhaust bracket and weld that in place, but that wont be to much hastle.

So tomorrows plans are:

Make and fit exhaust mount
Cut carpet for the rear seat to shape
Fit the carpet
Make runners for seats
start fitting the dash and gauges

Then ill do all the finishing bits the day after that, like fitting the arches, sorting out the wiring, etc... and get the engine running the day after that. Lets hope it will work out how i have planned haha.

Well i have been thinking about my idea of using two different bucket seats, but i have come to the conclusion that i dont like this, so i have been on evil bay again and found these.

the runners look like mini runners, and if they arent they will be easy to modify, so that will save me alot of time :)

Well i just won them for £93 and ill be going to collect them tomorrow evening ;)
