Yea i go to Manwoods school thats why in sandwich all the time lol.
With my wheels i ahve a 1/2" spacer on the fronts and i had to grins a slight bit off the caliper, but if i went for 3/4"-1" spacer i think i wouldner have had to grind some off the caliper.
There is an old thread on here somewhere showing you how you do it. il try and find it and post it up.![]()

tom,
when you spacered the front out did you spacer the backs aswell???

No i didnt at the time, but if i was going to continue using them breaks i would have also spaced out the rear?
Tom, how comes Dom can take decent pics and you cant?
Bonnet is looking really good. Also How comes your boot looks so ill fitting?
Look because im always to buisy working so i rush the pics, where as dom does photography so when hes not working he takes time taking pics and he knows how to get a good pic lol.
The bonnet pin isnt in is it? I think so:)

good stuff, looks class mate, i might have to get u to do a bit of work for my Ashtray lol
lol yea once iv got mine done ill give you a hand if you want

i seen the latest minimag and the black mini has a central digi dash. i think thats another thing for my next mini
LOL yea i think its defo worth getting as the mini speedo is so out all the time...
Well i went out on the *yellow human water* again last night, so i wasnt really up to doing much, but i had a shower and ate some lunch and this gave me a bit of life, so i though i go up to the mini and see what happens, so i started sanding again and got the bonnet fully flatted back and gave the arches a final flat back with 1500 wet and dry. So as they were flatted back i though well i might aswell give them a lacqure now

Well concidering i have never sprayed 2k lacqure i am amazed with the finish i have got, theres no orragne peel, no runs, they have come out alot better that i thought i would be able to spray, so here are some pics of them after teh lacqure had hardened

Then i plumbed in the water system to the engine and joined up the wiring apart from the starter motor, because i have to wire in a solinoid for that as i am using a different flywheel fing gear, so i have to use an inert starter.

Once i have the solinoid wire up all i have to do is set up the timing, then ill fire the engine up

I then put the front back on just for a pic and rested the bonnet on, its sitting on the bonnet pins, so thats why it isnt sitting right.

Well looking at how low everything is sitting i had a quick measure up today and found i only have 3 1/4" clearance uner the gearbox.

I also finished flatting back the dash and got that lacqured up and my god its looking sexy

I then test fitte the gauges to see what it will look like.

i then started to sort out all the wiring for the gauges, and i was so shocked at hod bodged the wiring was behind there

That dash is looking lovely, I'm amazed it came out so glossy after some of the previous pictures.
