Yea i go to Manwoods school thats why in sandwich all the time lol.

With my wheels i ahve a 1/2" spacer on the fronts and i had to grins a slight bit off the caliper, but if i went for 3/4"-1" spacer i think i wouldner have had to grind some off the caliper.

There is an old thread on here somewhere showing you how you do it. il try and find it and post it up.

>_< :D :D loving how the door cards look, ill get some pics of then fitted when they arive :D

Cheers

tom,
when you spacered the front out did you spacer the backs aswell???
thanks jack

No i didnt at the time, but if i was going to continue using them breaks i would have also spaced out the rear?

LOL yea i think its defo worth getting as the mini speedo is so out all the time...

Well i went out on the *yellow human water* again last night, so i wasnt really up to doing much, but i had a shower and ate some lunch and this gave me a bit of life, so i though i go up to the mini and see what happens, so i started sanding again and got the bonnet fully flatted back and gave the arches a final flat back with 1500 wet and dry. So as they were flatted back i though well i might aswell give them a lacqure now :P

Well concidering i have never sprayed 2k lacqure i am amazed with the finish i have got, theres no orragne peel, no runs, they have come out alot better that i thought i would be able to spray, so here are some pics of them after teh lacqure had hardened :P Sorry for all the pics i get a bit exited haha.

Then i plumbed in the water system to the engine and joined up the wiring apart from the starter motor, because i have to wire in a solinoid for that as i am using a different flywheel fing gear, so i have to use an inert starter.

Posted Image

Once i have the solinoid wire up all i have to do is set up the timing, then ill fire the engine up

I then put the front back on just for a pic and rested the bonnet on, its sitting on the bonnet pins, so thats why it isnt sitting right.

Not really done much today, but hopfully ill have someone around to help me tow the mini down to my house, so i can get the welding done on the floor.

Well looking at how low everything is sitting i had a quick measure up today and found i only have 3 1/4" clearance uner the gearbox.

Posted Image

I also finished flatting back the dash and got that lacqured up and my god its looking sexy ;D

I then test fitte the gauges to see what it will look like.

i then started to sort out all the wiring for the gauges, and i was so shocked at hod bodged the wiring was behind there :P so i chopped out all the wires that had been added and started again, so now i have started adding the new wires for my new gauges. ill finish doing that and add a blade fuse box when i get the chance.

All I can say is WOW! That has to be the nicest dash I've ever seen in a Mini. Is that a Sat Nav in the center, if so, is that going to be used as your speedo?

Yea it is sat nav in the middle :shifty:, well i will be using it as a speedo, but the other box type gauge is actually a digital speedo, so that will be my main speedo function :D

Thank you for the very kin workds helps give me the motivation to get the mini done faster :P

I have one of those little green Mini clocks :shifty:.

That dash is looking lovely, I'm amazed it came out so glossy after some of the previous pictures.
