how come you get a breakers yard with all this cool mini stuff, but i dont have anything near me?

It doesnt usually have nething worth taking , but the guy calls me up when he gets minis in and he said he got just the thing for me, etc... so i went up there got the screen and looked over the 1380, and i got the shocks today... if everything goes to plan ill have a 1380 in a couple of days

Well i gave the breakers a call today and they accepted my offer on the MED 1380 engine So ill collect that either today or tomorrow

Iv fitted up all the rear arches, fitted the petrol tank (only the standard one ATM because iv got to get a fuel pump for the larger tank)

Iv also done all the wiring on the back minus the numberplate light.

Iv also re-fitted most of the pins on the bonnet.

Iv started on the wiring for the flip front, but iv got to get some more wire so i can make it reach.

It will be finished tomorrow , iv only got to extend the wiring for the front, fit the front arches and fit the front door cards.

AMAZING COLOUR!!!
Lime green was in my mind when deciding a colour for mine, but orange won it over.

I'm thinking, when I've finished mine we should meet and go for a random drive to show off lmao. Bright green and bright orange minis driving round, cool me thinks lol! (we'd both need our sunroofs open as well ). Only prob is urs is finished tomos and mine will hopefully finished in about 9-11 months.

Will be beast with that 1380 in as well!

LOL yea cool stuffwhen your is done we'll have drive to a show and see what looks we get. i was choosing between bright orrange and lime green but i chose the green in the end lol.

Well i got the mini fited up today the majority of the bits are on, so i took it for a quick spin, and went for a little drive with Dom.

Everything was going amazing until there was a near traumatic moment. but ill tell you about that when its fixed tomorrow lol, all im saying is im sooooo soooooo sooooo soooooo sooooo happy that i pulled over to check things over, i never have done before, but as it was a first run and it had a new paint job i decided to. and i can tell you now if i have any suspicions about anything ever again i will defo pull over as soon as i can.

As you can see iv got to fit my other wheels and drop the back end down, but apart from that there is only little bits left to do

paintwork looks good.

i think wider wheels are needed and the exhaust doesnt look quite right. maybe a centre exit dtm(yes i know it is bad for performance) but it would look right
