Ok well everything is completly working with the dash now :P, and now i have decided to put a flip front on it, so last week i won a fiberglass front off ebay, so i picked that up . Now im trying to sort out the fitting parts like all the solid subframe mounts, brace bars, fixing, etc... But ic i can get the parts sorted in time ill be chopping the front off next week lol.

Now changed the seats again lol. Well i was offered a pair of 1/2 leather rover 220 coupe seats :P  :gimme: and my friend wanted my buckets, so i sold the buckets to him and he picked up the 1/2 leather rover seats for me. So he dropped them off to me and he took the buckets away. Once i had the seats i make up some custom parts for the frame and got the rover seats fitted that evening ;)

Now all i have to do i sort out a rear bench that will match, i might just make one up out of black vinal... What do you think?

Some pics:

A pic of the under seat speaker board fitted in place.

I also sorted out the high raised brake like that is molded in to my parcel shelf speaker board, i drilled holes so it says mini lol, once i have the break light fitted ill see what it looks like, if i dont like it ill mount a break light properly in to the shelf.

looking good. The rover seats are damn comfy as well. How did you fix your dash on, just with screws? also is it only ion the gel coat as it looks really good

Yea its just the gel coat, well i brought it off someone and i dont know if it was them or it came with it but there are three bolts fiberglassed to it, in the same position where the top dash rail bolts are, so i just slotted the bolts in to them holes and it works a treat :P.

Yea when i got the seats i was amazed that i got them for free , then once they were fitted i went out for a drive for about 1 1/2 and they were really comfy the whole time.

Thats the dash im after, so if the one i have doesnt have anything in place ill just fibreglass some bolts underneath. looks good in just the gel coat.

Has anyone got any ideas on what i can do for a grill, the only thing i can think of is a MK1 grill, however i dont really fancy forking out about £100, does anyone know how i can mount a MK3 grill on it. the only think i could think of doing is making some brackets so that the chrome bonnet trim will be secured to the grill banana things.

Well the front end is off :P minus 1/2 of one inner wing. If felt so bed when i first brought the grinder to the front but now i have got some nice plans for the mini once the front end it on so that ok :teehee:

Ill upload some pics of my progress later. Hopefully ill get all the grinding done, fit the brace bars and if i feel iv got the energy ill have a go at fitting the solid subframe to floor pan mounts.

Wish me luck lol

PM sent JimP
