I also picked up a set of wellers at L2B i was told that they were 6x10 but when i got back i measured them and there actually 5x10 so im not all that happy, anyway i got a bit board today so i thought that i would give them a quick recondition. only got round to doing 2 and this is what the two i didnt do look like:

And the two that i have rubbed down and painted look like this:

I think they look alot nicer. Although i dont this i will actually use them as i wanted some 6x10 wellers not 5x10, so once they are done i will put them up for sale i think.
However on a good note, i did pick up a pair of wellers of tomm today that are 6x10, although not in the best condition, i think that with a bit of love ill get them looking nice.

Also on a good not Jordie, has been very very kind and is giving me 1 6x10 weller for the price of postage so that will cover the wheels for my trailer and a spare, and i think that Jammy has got a set that i will prbs take off him.

Also a few weeks ago i got rid of my checker plate door cards and rear quarter cards, i replaced these with some black faux leather cards, i think that these look better than the checker plate cards, i also fitted some fiberglass door pockets that take my 5 1/2" pioneer speakers, i kept my pioneer speakers that were mounted on the front arch as i wanted to keep as much sound coming to me from up front.

I also finished making my custom under rear seat speaker board, for this i used some 10mm MDF, i then measured out where i wanted my speakers and cut the holes for them, for the shelf i am using 4 speakers, two of the speakers are 8" pioneer speakers, and the other two are the 6 1/2" pioneer speakers that i had on my rear shelf before. once i have cut the holes in the under seat board, i put the speakers in place to make sure that the speaker fit, i then made the gap about 0.5mm winder all the way round, once this was done i got out some faux black leather and covered the under seat board. i then mounted the speakers in place, i thought that this looked mint, but then just to finish it off i mounted a little chrome "MINI" badge that i had in my shed, in the middle of the board. To fit it to the mini i will have to mount it at a slight angle but in theory this should meant that the sound is projected more upward so will wound better. To do this i will weld a plate on each rear bin and screw the board to it.
