Time for a little project to keep me busy whilst the Mini project is halted.

I have set myself a budget of £100 to pick up something cheap which needs minimal work and will hopefully turn me a nice little profit.

There are no real preferences as to what car but hopefully i want something that will be easy to sell on. So i am going to go for something that might appeal to a new driver or someone who wants a small runaround.

I have been to see a few cars and once i make my mind up on which, i will update with photos and a plan.

stay tuned....

Ben

What have you been smoking? £100? O_O  My Astra cost £350, and that seemed to be one of the cheapest/reliable cars to buy at the time. :tumble:

Ford KA should sell quickly, as a first car. Just a shame they rust so much. >_<

Facebook car sales groups seem to throw up a few cheapies.  My local one has loads of cheap stuff on it.

I was actually spoilt for choice  :ohno:

There were about 5 cars in my range that i was looking at. some were 2002-2004 age range too!

All mot failures and a couple were head gasket.

I think i have made the right choice though

Going now so ill add photos when i return

So what you going to do to this bad boy?

Well it failed it's MOT a few weeks ago so i want to get it MOT'd first and then it needs a VERY good wash and machine polish as the paint is as flat as a pancake but fortunately in good condition.

I'm going to re-paint the Fiat hubcaps as they are scuffed and dull and just generally tidy it up and then move it on.

Work should hopefully start tomorrow

I might also replace the hideous boy racer headlamps for some Fiat originals if they are cheap enough
