Quite a lot if you can see on my pictures

Holy sh*t you've dented it in loads lol don't think I need to go that extreme!

Jon good to hear your back in the mini scene your new build looks great :)

Right then small update bit of reinforcing done today, first bit was at the top of the towers

20160104_151916_zpsk86no9xe.jpg[/URL]

2nd bit was inside the towers

20160104_170611_zpsgvwvynfe.jpg

Hopefully they should be nice and strong again now :) apart from my bottom arm mounts any ideas if I need to reinforce other areas ?
put the top arm in and check for twist in the tower. Noticed a bit in outs so cut a bit of 20x20 box in half and curved it around the outside :-)

Any pics ?

It may be because it looks like we've cut more out of the bottom of the towers as you still have majority of the hole for the driveshaft. As you progress just keep checking clearances and any movement in the frame. I think the only thing I can see that probably.won't clear with you is the pot joint closest to the tower and the longest driveshaft but we had the same problem. Just a quick adjustment and it was sorted :-)

I did try the pot joint in my engine quickly and all it touches was the nut holding my bottom arm in but it wasn't done up so I doubt it will touch at all once fully tightened, maybe our engines are positioned slightly different ?

If that's the case yours is probably a lot lower than mine. Would be interested to see how much lower :-)

Hey guys was just thinking about my brake setup, obviously I'm ditching my servo due to lack of space and also because it doesn't really do much haha so am I right in thinking that the only difference between my pedal box and one from a non servo mini is that the clevis pin in my brake pedal is bigger diameter ? Or is the actual pedal a different angle n stuff ?

The clevis pin hole is bigger I did the same thing to my other mini. Just made a metal bush to fit and welded it in place. Worked fine

Cool just I'd read somewhere that the pedals were different so if the servo was swapped out for non servo master cylinder the pedal wouldn't have enough travel on it

I had no problem with mine. Just had to make the clevis pin hole smaller

Cool I'll just weld it up and re-drill the hole then :)

Fairly sure the holes are in slightly different positions.

All I did was machine up some steel to match the o.d of the hole in the pedal and drilled a hole in the centre to allow the clevis pin to fit. Then welded it to the pedal
