Hi guys sorry for lack of updates, I've found the live wire for my fuel pump now and cleared all the scrap out of the micra so I could trace the wires back to the sender unit in the tank, turns out the yellow and green wire which I thought was low fuel light is actually the wire for the gauge however when I earth it out it doesn't move the gauge :(
Now then to add further confusion sometimes when I turn the ignition on the fuel gauge will go up to full and then about 5 seconds after the fuel pump relay clicks off the gauge goes back to empty ?????? Anyone got any ideas ????????

Question are you trying to get the Micra loom to work with a set of mini clocks or going to adapt the Micra clocks to fit?

Everything is micra so micra clocks with micra loom the only difference is I'm using the mini petrol tank not the micra one lol,

Really pee'd off with wiring now started connecting up rear lights only to find that my indicators and brake lights don't work and that the fog light comes on with the sidelights even tho its switched off! 😠

Ok so have discovered that my micra even tho it's a 1999 car it has been wired like a 2000 model so now with new wiring diagrams I've managed to get most of the lights working except the indicators but I think this is due to there being no hazard switch, still can't get the fuel gauge to work but oh well. Wired in my electric fan too :)

Fitted my new speedo sensor sender thingy wow what a job haha couldn't do the bolt up once it was in so the grinder came out and now there's a hole in my floor....... Ooooops

So hopefully get some more done over the weekend/Monday as I've got the day off, my drive shafts are almost finished so I'm going to trial fit them first before the final welding :)

All rear lights now work just need to fit a new brake light switch onto the pedal box

I'm having to plug them in before its bolted in as there's no room at all once it's bolted in place
