Right I've encountered a problem, can't find the full pump live in my loom or the wire that works the fuel gauge, has anyone got any idea what colour wire they are ?

I have no nats loom I'm unsure if the colours are different but mine was

Black and Yellow for control switch to fuel pump relay. It went to black connector.

My ECU only turns I on for a few secs if the engine isn't fired. Then switches the pumps off

It was a full loom to start with but I've stripped loads out I'll try get some pics next time I work on it, cheers for the diagram I'll have a look at it later, according to the Haynes manual it's a yellow n red wire that works the sender but this colour of wire doesn't exist in my loom lol

I see what you mean in the difference.

Black, Black/Red - Fuel Pump

Black and Red should go to the relay?

I will have to check the rest when I get back.

Just seen on the board the fuel gauge sign. You can follow it back and buzz (multimeter) them to work out fuel gauge sender.

You could then work out most of the colours and what they do. process of elimination comes to mind using whats left to give you an answer

On mine the fuel pump relay was switched on earth, the power was via brown wires and I think it was black and yellow going back to the ECU. This is for a pre facelift non NATS.
