Well most idler pulleys just have metal bearings in them the same as cheap skateboard bearings, these are ceramic bearings which are even better than the metal type so in theory it should be fine I mean the wheel it's self is designed for riding on concrete etc so should be fine with a rubber belt on it

Ideal when you aiming for it to be on the road?

Cereal packet is ok for mocking up brackets etc but you should prob use something more substantial for your alt bracket.

Didn't get a lot done on Saturday as had to hurry home quick due to my road being underwater thanks to a river getting blocked up with a big metal roofing sheet so had to go for a paddle and unblock it lol. Anyway Sunday was better managed to finish my exhaust manifold :) then started on my radiator,

Decided the best route for the bottom hose was under the starter motor so made a metal pipe so that it won't rub through from touching anything.

Shorted the pipe on the engine so that it ends at the back and relocated the T piece

Fitted a mini thermostat housing to get a better angle

Also where does that other outlet in the picture above go to ? I'm guessing it's the return from the heater?

Refitted my steering column so that it's easier to move

Yep that pipe goes to the heater on mine. Nice idea with the water pipe. One of the other mini chaps on here has done that also, I'm thinking of redirecting mine that way. May borrow your idea for the rear engine mount also as mine seems to be too wobbly and killing driveshaft gaitors :(

Best of luck, bet you can start to see the end in sight by now too!

All I've removed from my heater is the ability to change it from hot to col ad the only time it will be one if it's too cold lol. If it's too warm open the windows :-)
