You did all the work mate, I just watched and learned. Hopefully I'll get a couple of hours on it tomorrow, I need to replace some O rings on a bath mixer tap, but at least that's something I can do

I'm going to finish my rear quarter welding tomorrow and hopefully get the dash rails all sorted and in primer along with anything else interior wise so I can get a bit of colour on in the form of a rattle can so I can put the roll cage in and just leave it in to paint the rest of the car

That's how you helped out. You made brews so that was fine with me. Glad I could pass some knowledge on

Not a real update, but got some scrap sheet steel from James Eaton today, so gonna have a practice at mig welding on Friday before having a go at the GT, so hopefully have some decent progress pics soon, Jim

I doubt anyone was born a great welder. It will take time, but I am sure you'll master the skill :)
