[GT Jimmy]

Finally got around to fitting the doors on the GT, then got carried away and put the bootlid on too.

 

We've also fitted the heater, cleaned the seatbelts and fitted them too, and finished the carpet I started a couple of months ago. 

 

I now need to finish the headlining so I can fit the seals and windows, I'll put the bonnet on when it's a runner

Fitted my refurbed wheels to the GT today, had to clean the powder coat off the back of the wheels, my hands are still shaking lol

 

Really pleased with how the car's looking now

 

I also plumbed in the heater, installed the accelerator cable and attached the choke cable to the carb, won't be long now...

We got some glass in the GT, and fitted the door seals too. I really hope they bed in a little because they are pushing the doors out a little

 

 

 

After we put the door glass in the passenger side we put the locks, handles and the door cards on. It's a shame they've been chopped to put some speakers in but they're better than having a hole

 

 

 

A friend is coming on Thursday to do my brakes and clutch so all being well might get it in for an MOT next week sometime
