Surely it is better to work in a garage when it is cold and pouring down with rain outside?
Trust me you don't want to be inside when the sun is shining.

it's sometimes hard to tell if I'm inside or outside in my garage when it rains mate, Leaky roof

You may have to write it a different way haha. In the garage is good just get a small heater that's all I do. Go in turn it on make a brew then it's warm for when I want to work

Haha, that's less than ideal. I'd imagine the ideal place to work would be a clean, well lit, covered space (and if it is cold, some form of heating, and some form of cooling for summer). A leaky roof doesn't help with a few of those, like the clean and the covered part.

I used to have the kids paddling pool covering it, will have a proper clear up tomorrow. My brothers father in law recently passed away, his garage is like a treasure trove of tools and has a couple of heaters which I may have to borrow
