[JXC Mini GT]

Looking good, great work it will be good to see it back on its wheels.

Rolled it over this morning, kind of hampered by the rain

 

 

Got the rear subframe on my motorbike lift and offered it up to the car

 

 

A fair bit of swearing later and it's on

 

 

We'll fit the front one next time, hopefully it won't be raining

Finally got it on all 4 wheels this afternoon after work, a simple schoolboy error meant we couldn't get the hubs onto the shafts, you live and learn eh?

 

 

Dead happy, need to pin my nephew down now to smother it in applejack

Since my last post we've been quite busy on my days off. We've adjusted the high lows, fitted the shocks, test fitted the doors, bootlid and bonnet

 

Took nearly 2 days to get the bonnet looking anyway half decent, then because of the way the captive nut for the bonnet pin was welded on, to get the bonnet to the right height it only screwed a couple of turns, wasn't happy leaving it like that under load so had to fire the welder up using gasless wire, not ideal but it worked

 

Then the nice man with a truck came and picked it up to take it to my nephews workshop

Can't wait...

We've also acquired a few bits and pieces

 

 

Got a hif44 with a Howley inlet and k+n filter, And a maniflow exhaust system thrown in, Thanks Lord Oversill.

 

And we all love a big box from minispares
