Can't wait to see it in colour. My only hope in this race is if you take about 10 years putting it back together!!

wow this looks awesome mate! Cant wait to see some apple jack green on there to, it will be rolling in no time. I would suggest running the copper fuel and brake lines before fitting the subframes on, it will probably be easier to run these while its upside down mate

I think you're right about running brake and fuel lines mate. I'll have to google how it all fitswow this looks awesome mate! Just makes life so much easier and the subframes are meant to go over the top of them. Think mini spares sell the set kits needed, so the right lengths and connections etc.

While my Mrs is watching the qualification for Eurovision I'll put a couple of pics up. R kid came round for a couple of hours this morning and started rebuilding the front subframe. After I put the top arms on the wrong sides I thought it best to let him crack on with it
I'll do the ball joints tomorrow after work and fit the swivel hubs

A torque wrench and an ugger dugger socket can only mean one thing... BALL JOINTS!!
What a pain in the arse shimming them up but we got there in the end. Was getting late so we'll put em on the subframe tomorrow

I'm not saying I'm a tight Northerner, but with the crappy quality wheel bearings on offer these days we thought we'd clean up the original Timken bearings and re pack them with fresh grease.
I tied the matching bearings together to make sure they didn't get mixed up, not really sure if it matters. They seem to be smooth running so will refit them
Plan for my day off this week is to get the underneath in applejack, weather pending
