Absolutely love those wheels! cant want to see it all bolted together

I have a week off in May so if I can have the underneath stonechipped and body colour I can think of sending it to my nephew, then it's putting it all back together

 

Good plan yes get the paint work done then its bbq time and we all come with spanners and get it built mate need some shake down time before imm

Back on it today, finally had a go at skinning the doors

 

Quite happy with the results, Also got the tyres off the wheels

 

And found the inspiration for the paint

 

And my daughter thinks the fuel pump looks like a two legged elephant haha

Probably have it upside down next week to get it stonechipped, then get it rolling to make it mobile, then send it off to my nephew for paint. Busy times ahead

Only joking. Just things like ball joints, cv joints, brake hoses, rear drums etc. The top secret bit came in an envelope

After a small bit of welding inside the car, while trying to avoid the hail showers, it's back on it's roof. Next time will be cleaning the under side up then stone chip and body colour.

 

And while that's drying and going hard we'll be building up the subframes up to get it a rolling shell

Gave the underneath a going over with the wire cup and flappy discs today. Found no new holes so gave it a coat of etch

 

 

 

I need to rub down the boot floor and the arches so I can prime them, then give the whole lot a coat of stonechip

 

My ears are now bleeding and my neighbours hate me haha
