Had a couple of hours on the GT this afternoon, so this is what was in the box
A solid subframe mount kit from minispares. Check out the manly cups
Got the subframe on then had a go at lining the front end up
So that's where we left it, it's a mile out at the mo but a day fettling will sort it out, almost looks like a car again
Hey check this out looks ace with its front end back in place mate, nice work!

If I'm ever going to get this car done in time for the IMM I'll need to get an hour in the garage every day... so todays hour was cleaning the front shock mounts of all the crud, rust and paint, and they're now soaking in white vinegar to get rid of what's left of the rust
I'll leave them in for a few days then get em etch primed and painted

We got the solid mounts initially for lining up the front end, but one of the original bulkhead rubber mounts had split apart. I'll run with the solid mounts and see how they goAre you planning on running with the solid subframe mounts or did you just get these to Sid alignment of the front panels?

Deffo recommend solids Jimmy, dont notice any difference in noise, but alot better steering. Had them on H7 for 8 years, only fitted them to Firecat this year, and wow, wondered why i'd not done it before. Also helps stop flex on the front end, ie cracking on the seams at the front.

Doesn't parts of the floor need reinforcing to run solid mounts ??

Ideally yes, they say the toe board cracks under stress. I welded some 2.5mm steel plates on the inside on mine to spread the load.
