Going to give it a going over with a wire wheel then get it stonechipped and body colour, then get it a rolling shell, then get the rest of the shell painted later

Back on the GT again today, Got the driver side outer sill welded on

 

 

Had to reposition the jacking point plate to make it fit better, Looks and fits better now

 

 

I'll tidy it up a bit when I dress all the welds back, I ran out of time again so had to pick my youngest up from school

Had an hour in the garage this morning before the kids woke up. when lining the inner wings up the bottom return was about 5mm out on both sides, so cut the return off and re welded it back on 

 

A rough clean up and a bit of paint to stop it rusting, then the other side next time

Sounds good mate! It will soon be time for some stone chip and paint under there, are you doing it all in colour underneath? Just thinking that green would look amazing with those nice black subframes
