Wow, you're making some good progress on this now Jimmy. You've picked it up like a natural.

Far from a natural mate, just getting ideas off others on here.

Are you getting any time on yours?

Whatever you're doing, it seems to be working.

No progress on mine yet. Hope to get a bit done soon. Doing MOT repairs on the family car at the moment :(

Had a few hours on the GT with R Kid today. Removed some of the boot floor repair panel recently welded on to fit the M Machine side repair panel, had to make a repair piece to extend it further round the arch because the flange was a little crusty, and the rectangular piece of steel welded from factory is bound to be hiding crusty metal.

I'll have to do the same on the passenger side next time so I'll put some photos up then, photobucket won't let me do anything tonight for some reason.

Don't think I'll make the ferry for the IMM now haha

Need to constantly fiddle with the settings, all a learning process I guess.

I guess that's why people replace the whole boot floor

Well I was going to do an update but it seems photobucket is being an arse! It seems my photos are temporarily disabled, and I can't sort it.

I might try another hosting site. Balls

I hate Photoocuket.

But on a side note, how easy is it to turn a shell upside down onto the roof, as it looks like you can with your photo? Can two strong men do it..? (I'll have to find some ;) )

Q

My shell is totally stripped and surprisingly easy to roll over with just me and r kid. I use an old double mattress to roll it onto.

I used a strong thule roof rack I got on ebay for a fiver, much cheaper than a spit but nowhere near as flexible

I thought I'd put up a couple of photos up that photobucket kindly removed, not doing them all again because that'll take forever

I'll have a couple of days on the GT this week so will update with new progress photos, thanks

Thanks mate. Lots has been done after these pics were taken. On a positive note about photobucket, I'm now using imgur and it's so easy to use

It'd be nice if you could reupload the photos to imgur. Imgur is so much better than photobucket. Definitely a change for the better.

Imgur is much better but I don't think I'll be re loading all the old photos, I might though do another post with a few more recent photos up to where it stands now. Thanks for looking

There comes a time in life when you have to admit defeat, and my time came today. The boot floor I've tried to patch using repair panels is bolloxed...

Time to start saving for a full boot floor panel. Gutted
