It's a gas issue. The shroud was full of crap blocking flow, well I'm hoping so. Ordered a couple of shrouds and some new tips. Hopefully that will sort itif you get it sussed, let me know, because i'm crap at welding too

There is progress mate, floorpan and doorstep in place and clamped up ready to weld in. Just need to hone my welding skills first. Feckin slow though

I'll be on it on Wednesday for a few hours if you want to have a look. The trouble is I don't have a clue what I'm doing so everything takes ages. Added to that my welding has gone to pot.Stop procrastinating and take pics all the time and post them straight away lol. I need to pop round one day

But having said that the welds are dressed up a bit and the floorpan ain't going anywhere.
Ran out of time before getting chance to weld the step in, kids needed picking up

I need to replace the whole driver side inner wing including the flitch so that was roughly cut out. The toe board will be spot welded when the inner wing and flitch is done, along with the inner sill and door step. I'll use some tek screws to pull the two panels tight
Can't believe I left some of the inner sill still attached, was too eager to fire the welder up. Won't be too difficult to remove next week

I still can't weld mateDoesn't look to bad to be fair at least you have got away with saving the toe board and not having to rebuild part of it
