I went with SGS as they don't charge rental, just a deposit. I thought it was safer that way as I have no idea how many years I might have it

I went with them because they're close to me, no other reason. Just need to get on with it now

Finally got my gas connector sorted, now waiting for the conversion hose to fit the welders 4mm hose, then I'm away.

Unfortunately I couldn't get the magic wand needed to have it ready for the IMM in Ireland next year

Glad you got it sorted, rental is not bad and I have boc on rent and find it much cheaper overall than rent free cylinder, just took my y cylinder which is 20 litres at 200bar in today and cost £34 to exchange and I don't have to pay for 30 days. Rental works out at about £4 a month,
Looking forward to some more updates then now.

Got no excuse now Daz, used em all already.

In theory the quicker the weldings done the cheaper it will be

Had a go at that welding lark on the GT today, welded my bracing in. Happy with it because it's strong and ain't going anywhere. Had to pack in early because I had to go to my daughters school play so it's all I could get done.

Next will be subbies off then the big rollover

Removed the loom from the engine bay, I'll have to attack it with the good ole flapper disc
