I hated the Clubman front back in the day but recently I've got a soft spot for them.

The one thing all those cars linked above have in common is they are all very original low mileage
Mint original cars will always make the best money
A restored shell with loads of reproduction parts will never be 100% original
Someone that's spending 20k on a car will know the difference

The only undervalued Coopers these days may well be the Innocenti Mini-Cooper 1275 Export. Arguably the last of the real Mini-Coopers.
But early 850 Minis, in basically original conditions or with 'period mods only' are going up well at present. Must get on with my 1964 850 .

i gotta agree with all the comments since my last outburst.
in reality i thought for a 1980 gt in dam close factory spec £6-8k
i cannot see them catching the coopers and s cars there are far to many around
