Hi guys ive recently bought a 1996 SPI Mayfair 1275 and im going for a bit of a speedwell theme on the interior, i already have the speedwell seats from mini spares and am looking to finish the look off with some yellow seatbelts so im curious if anyone has had any experience with seatbelts from other cars? Are there any compatibility issues?

Have a word with FTDS: http://www.fdts-seatbelts.co.uk/ they know their onions, I wanted blue so they sent me a swatch with 12 different blues on it, I don't doubt they'll have a few yellows.

Can you keep this updated with your progress please mate, I'm going with a yellow/black theme with my mini and at some point I might look into yellow seat belts myself.

Will do mate, im going to phone FDTS in the morning and try and get them to send me some swatches and ill see about posting some pics when i get them.

Cool, yellow seat belts would be cool as. Currently got red ones but they won't do when I get the rest of the interior sorted but thankfully that's a long way off lol.

So i received some samples thanks to a lovely lady named Sue at FDTS and they look great, also on a positive note replacing the webbing is a lot cheaper than i thought as long as i supply the hardware (e.g. buckle, pre-tensioner etc.)

 

P.S. not sure why the pic is upside-down considering it displays properly prior to upload
