Thanks to Ben he has done an immense job, this car was my first car I passed my test in and as usual it got modded in the late 80s

I sold it on and somehow I found it again.

In reality it was scrap but because it was my first car and I knew it was with knowing the shell and bits that was on it I decided to have Ben resurrect it from a mess, I said to Ben I wanted the OEM look and the colour was a big problem for me and the Wife.

I saw Porsche Signal Orange and with it being a 70s colour thought it would be great.

I can honestly say Ben and Mill Road Garage have been fantastic, I had many questions and concerns and Ben was very good at keeping me on the correct path even though I’m sure I was a tad annoying.

Anybody that wants the job done properly contact Ben as he is the real deal.

I’m also pleased the fellow mini clan approve of the way it has been resurrected.

Cheers

Good afternoon all

Long time no see! I hope everyone is well.

I've been so busy that I unfortunately had to knock the forum on the head for a while whilst I catch up with work and sort out some health problems.

I've still been continuing with restoration work here at Mill Road and I've still had a few minis through the door which I'll catch you up on below.

Time allowing, I'll post up some more detailed reports if there is any interest in me doing that again?

Going back to last year, I had a very rough RSP in for a body restoration.

You might remember it but bit didn't ever finish the rebuild thread for it

YaAdbdy.jpg

This one had extensive panel work and went off as a rolling shell for its owner to rebuild

Whilst that was going on, I was also doing a full body restoration on a 1986 Mayfair which came in as a stalled project

xTcnm43.jpg

n25Y44x.jpg

HnqM5dE.jpg

This one also needed a tremendous amount of panel work to put right

mdhqz5B.jpg

NoP3Se0.jpg

oOxi6Jx.jpg

LtjiHXv.jpg

It came out lovely though and went back home to the mainland for reassembly by its owner

I had a lovely riley elf in for a second visit.

Last time, I replaced the boot lid and m

Bonnet and did a few small jobs but this time, it had gotten quite scruffy and so the owner decided to strip it and send it in for a front end rebuild and a respray.

The car was in remarkable original unrested condition so the work required was fairly minimal

And that's all for this post

I Have more which I'll upload tomorrow

Thanks for looking

Cheers

Ben
