Certainly am mate.
Lots of time consuming fiddly repairs to do on the Golf. The A post repairs took longer than anticipated due to the fact that they are made up of several parts which had all rotted out and needed to be remade.
It seems that water must sit in under the scuttle and seep through causing the damage.
It's all good now though

Yes. It is one of the drain tubes for the sunroof.

Hi Ben
Nice progress on my golf, looks like you have been busy, will pop the headlining out to you next week. Cheers Rich.
Hi Rich.
Yes, Busy Busy and that's fine to pop in with the headlining.
I have been making more progress today. Namely the other inner wing and i have made a start on the rear arch. Colin has started with the prep work on the panels too so we should be in primer in a few days.
Here is the other inner wing fitted and the battery tray and surrounding areas rust treated.
I still need to do some sand blasting in some areas where the power tools can't reach.
The rear inner arch was as we suspected so that will be rebuilt in the morning and the new outer arch welded in place.
Cheers
Ben

I have some more progress photos but they aren't very up to date
Time to start cleaning up the engine bay. First the rest of the components needed removing
Since those were taken, i have continued to clean back where i can by hand and media blasting the areas where i can't. It's all coming up well.
There is this hole to repair
And some excess trim clip holes in the sill to weld
And that will be the welding complete.
Then onto the sunroof....
Cheers
Ben
