Yes, it's having the drivers door replaced and some other minor bits done.

I see. Did you drive there? The old ferry is fun but a bit steep, £75 each way!

We paid £54 when we drove the wife’s white 40LE a few weeks ago to Mill road.
All depends what time of day you travel, ours was the 08.45 sailing, with some military discount thrown in as well.

Was that Lymington - Yarmouth Dan? If so, that's pretty good for Wightlink!

Initially a tune up but I am trying to source a replacement sunroof as the one fitted has a completely buggered seal.

The sunroof was dealer fitted when the car was new but is not a brand that I am aware of so a replacement unit is the best option I recon.

Tried the new door on the GT

 

 

It fits pretty well for a new door (usually they don't) but the window frame needs tweaking as it sits too far forward.

The car has been painted in the past so although its supposed to be old english white, that colour off the shelf didn't match so I had it colour matched to a Citroen colour called creme parthenon KDC

Mostly re-assembled now. I am just waiting on a new windscreen as I managed to crack the one previously fitted when re-fitting it.

The new rubber was just too tight and CRRAACCK.

This is the first one I have ever broken and I have done more than I can count.

Never mind, Ill sort it.

 

 

 

 

 

Once the screen is in, I just need to flat and polish the roof.

 

Sorry for the cramped photos, I am a little tight on space at the moment!
