Once the brakes are bled and the waxing up is done, I can go for a test drive and then it's ready to go!
Cheers
Ben
Just don't forget no syncho on 1st!!
Yep no worries. I'm up to speed with lack of synchro and double de-clutching!
I shan't be going far. I just need to make sure everything is good after having removed the rear subframe and had half the rear suspension apart.
It's a good opportunity to stop for some glamour shots too

I like the spot pictured earlier in this thread with the white Mini 40 but lately there has been a very large rusty yellow skip there spoiling the scenery.
Fort Victoria is nice providing there aren't any people in motor homes in the way and Yarmouth car park backs onto the river Yar with the boats etc but doesn't make a nice background when the car park is full of modern cars.
Cheers

Happy to be coming to collect the car on Friday. Best Christmas present I've had for many a year!! So excited. Ben's worked his magic and turned my old reasonable car into a stunner!!
That'd be the best Christmas present EVER for me abd I'd not be able to sleep until I picked it up!

Stunning as always Ben! And what a lovely car. Mk2 and 3's with the modern style grille but 10" wheels and no arch extensions are just my favourite.
Excuse my ignorance - but what is the Churchill? Something for Hydrolastic suspension by the looks of the before and after?

Yers, the Churchill is the pump for filling the Hydrolastic suspension.
It's a proper Churchill one from when Mill Road Garage was an Austin Rover BL dealership way back when.
Still works fine but hardly ever gets used these days.

Not a problem Paul.
I managed to photograph it in the usual spot as the large skip has gone.
Shame about the traffic cone... oh and the miserable weather.
I managed to get out in it between showers which was lucky!
Cheers

It behaved very well.
I have to resist any bean giving but it did feel very willing.
I had forgotten how much nicer hydro Mini's ride.
Why did they stop that again?
