I'm off to Aldi soon to buy this air hose reel.

https://www.aldi.co....ir-hose-reel-1/

I'll need to change the ends for the bigger ones but that shouldn't be too hard.

This should neaten the garage up. I'm going to mount the water trap to the compressor

The bore size might be small for some tools.

I was only looking at these bits last night.

I suppose if the hose is to small for some tools, then you can just as well use your normal hose for those but for what you need it for Carl, i think it will be ok

To be honest, although I've got a windy gun, air ratchet, air chisel, and a few other bits I don't generally use them.

The air chisel is horrifically noisy.

Hmmm.

Not impressed.

It's very plastic and rigid

I love my air chisel but it makes my hands ache like hell. I gather a lot of pro garages have banned them as they really aren't good for you in the long run.

Most garages will now be conforming to the traffic light colour system.

Needle scaler and air chisel have always been in the red colour from the environments i have worked in. Red is really short use per day. If you reach the daily limit on red you cant use another vibrating tool for the rest of the day no matter what colour.

White finger!!! an issue we suffer with when using rivet guns. Something the sheet metal boys have had to contend with over the years. There are weighted gloves you can use that limit the vibration but when you are forming hundreds if not thousands of rivets each day  therein lies the issue.

If i lay down a couple of hundred in a day my arthritis plays havoc with my wrist.

I've just bought an Infra red thermometer from Aldi today for £12.99, these are exactly the same as some well known brands for half the price.

Good for checking suspected sticking brakes, coolant temps/thermostat operating, catalytic converter operation/serviceability and air con operation/ range temps.

Just found another use as winter is coming and balanced my central heating radiators.
