great job - of course now that the body is looking so good you'll have to renovate everything you bolt back on to it to the same standard! The biggest difference I made was getting all the zinc plated parts re-done.

As for all the items to go back on I have obtained a lot of nos parts and will be using those along with refurbed original ones, so quite a way off finishing yet. Having parts plated is something I am yet to look into but will hopefully make a good batch of parts up and go get some quotes. Am hoping can be finished this year though.

Really pleased with it, not 100% perfect due to being a home paint job but will give the overall effect I want. Plenty more work to do but it feels good to get to this stage, won’t be taking the booth down until all polishing completed just in case any problems.

Have a few more bits to sort out and refurb but pretty pleased with ones I have completed so far, hopefully get hydro pipes , main brake pipe and fuel pipe sorted so can get subframes fitted shortly, just seem to be struggling finding much spare time at the moment
Also have a problem with the windscreen wiper assembly as one of the wiper boxes is scrap, hopefully got one coming shortly so can get that all fitted.

Amazing build. Nice to see what one can do at home!
Truly inspirational and looks like a high quality throughout the entire build.

I have been busy blasting, derusting, rebuilding and replacing all the parts apart from engine unit so I can start putting the car back together, bought a few bits from bingley, but it’s getting more difficult to find some parts now, not much to add in pictures but been a lot of work to get this far, am hopeful it will start to come together now.
The engine and gearbox I will leave till last as it was rebuilt prior to coming off the road in 1998, so will strip it down but hopefully shouldn’t need any machining work.

And a pic of how it stands awaiting assembly, don’t think I will make it for himley in may but will get it on road this year as long as no hidden issues.
