This is the fan for hot climates http://www.minispare...|Back to search The closer you can get the fan to the rad the more efficient it will be. Just don't get it so close that it skims the rad. Also (this happened to me) remember that the fan might flex toward the rad at high revs so don't set it ultra-close.

Didn't know there was a different cowling. I've got my rad now as close as I can get, but with this cowling have holes in the same spot so my rad will fit on to it as well? It mentioned the upper and lower fixing has changed... the two piece is in rough shape though that's for sure.
I'm certainly not in a hot climate here in Nova Scotia, but the summer days can get past 30C which creates the problem. For now I think I'll just get a replacement 11 blade since I do have the electric fan in place as well so.
