Just back from the Italian Job Tour: 1750 mile round trip to Turin via all the key film locations in a 48 year old mk1 Mini 998 Cooper. Total number of breakdowns: ZERO. Exhausting but well worth it for all die hard fans of the filmDSCN0032.jpg

On top of Col de Nivolettes - the cliffhanging coach scene, a mile and a half above sea level. Mine is the red car on the left.

Thats a lovely silver mini with the body kit in the picture Mr B. Well they all were to be honest and we had a lot of fun. I recommend it to anyone but you might not have a Mr Bridger and Keats like we did. And the 998 performed very well going up the Col De Nivolet.

Awesome trip and event, very iconic locations and background to it all of course.

There's nothing like a road trip and there's nothing like a road tip in one of our wonderous cars (glad you guys had no issues).

Would love to do it, girlfriend hates the idea and Italy!

Hmmm,,,, the girl or the car???  decisions, decisions!

Looks awesome. I've done the IJ charity run so can appreciate the achievement. Impressed with zero breakdowns too. Lets have more pics.
