ATV Today: 22.11.1971: New Car Park for Small Cars
Greg Barnes report on a new car-park in Leicester that is only for use by drivers of small cars.
We see Greg Barnes driving up to the entrance to the car-park in a Ford Cortina but being turned away. He interviews Councillor Bill Scotton of Leicester City Council about the car-park which has an eleven foot limit on its spaces and is designed for the driver of Mini and other small cars. We see a couple of shots of the car-park full of Mini cars.

I used that car park several times in the late 1970's and early 80's. It was always pretty busy. I think it is now under the court building.
