sweet conversion

ive bought the same engine with gear box sitting int he metro front subframe.

i was gona sit it in the back after i saw 1 with a mgf gear box but yours looks alot easier than puttin it in the back!

so i was wondering if you still have the first frame you made? and if you wer willing to part with it?? cheers

Sorry didn't see this.
The first frame got chopped as needed the original mini section.

Not made much progress. Currently looking at making a turbo manifold that will still fit behind the standard front end. Just collecting parts at the moment.

Great car, I'm tempted to do this at some point in the future.
It'll look much better with a standard length front on it, I allways thinks they look a bit strange with the long ones on.
nice subby too
keep it up

First in a long time but small a small update :P Started locating the rad. Not sure if this location is 100% yet as may interfere with the starter

well buying the doner car for the box and driveshafts was a waste of time!
Decided to try the box that came with the engine (people say wouldn't fit) and it dropped staright in with a very slight bit of trimming
So the driveshafts from the doner car wont fit now either. And not gonna strip the whole car for a relay and header tank!
any way heres some pics

Great project and nice bike I went straight on to a 600 after I passed my test. I also often get distracted by my bike and don't do enough work on the mini project as well!

Keep up the good work.
