Back on its wheels so we could move it and tidy garage (ready to move stuff in to whilst we do work on kitchen/bathroom in the house)

Tracking needs setting, drivers wheel pointing in. To be expected though since i had to cut the track rod end off (siezed solid).

Dashboard back in and most things connected up.

Started it up to move it around, need clips for throttle/choke cable so had to tie the choke in position and use clutch at idle speed to slowly move it around. Best sort some clips etc soon.

Couple of niggles now sorted.....temp and fuel gauge working now......need a new bulb for oil pressure gauge.

Fitted choke and throttle cables again so can actually drive the car.

Few jobs to do still, but getting there slowly. Should have a little more time now the bathroom is done in the house.

Hazards wired in, discovered a fault with indicator stalk (needs replacing anyhow as mounting part is broken). Finished wiring the last few bits like the spotlights (not working currently, got power but no light so bulbs required to test further).

All electrics for MOT working, all lights working etc so another thing off the list. Peace of mind that the radiator fan, spotlights etc are wired up on their own relays now instead of through the mini wiring loom as previous.

Did get some oil and filter through work earlier in week, had planned to do the gear linkage seal over the weekend so will see what time I have available tomorrow.

Forgot to update this,

new stalk fitted

gear linkage fixed and working better

spotlight bulbs replaced and working

Still need to bolt up the dashboard fully and i think ill have the head off next for a good clean/decoke...new valve stem seals etc.

Dont plan on doing owt then until mot time next spring. Then the plan is to paint (fresh coat of white) and some decals.

Got 12x5.5s at minute. 13 inch wellers would be nice.

I reckon painting the grill black with a white top (like the RS2000) would work well, and a set of rev 4 spokes would finish it off nicely :)

The combined wrath of SWMBO and my mechanic would destroy the world!

Otherwise, I would love it...

Window etc now all back together on the door.

Fitted a small f1 kinda type door mirror.

Few little bits to sort n will book in for mot.
