Question About Fuel Tank Bracket Location

Hi Ben, I took this today in prep for chopping my floor out.

Hi all.

 

I am wanting to weld in the fuel tank strap bracket but have a few questions about tank placement.

 

Does the tank position and the bracket position look ok?

 

perhaps someone could have a look at theirs.

Here is another with the strap

I know the strap is not meant to meet the bracket and it looks inline with the bolt hole

I've just had to fit that bracket to mine and it looks to be in the same position, just remember to weld a nut to the back of it.

Is it not a spire clip with a nut attached?

I have the spire clip, It was on the workbench when the photo was taken.

 

If it looks about right, ill weld it tomorrow.

So the bracket that the strap is bolted to also acts as the register for the tank
