Hi there

 

I've been reading up about maniflows RCM exhaust system, but I haven't been able to find much about it apart from what it says on their website, what I want to really know is, what spec engine is it really for or can it be put onto any spec engine? I have a 998 with a stage 1 kit fitted at the moment, but the exhaust system is a mix match of bits from the previous owner, It works, but I want to refresh it all before I take it to a rolling road

No idea how it'll perform on a 998 but I fitted one (plus a maniflow stage 2 lcb) on a decent 1330 and gained next to nothing over a maniflow freeflow and a minispares rc40 combo. It sounded nice though.

I'm about to fit a freeflow and rc40 on my 998 and would be surprised if the rcm would offer much if anything more.

It's got a stage 1 kit fitted already with a freeflow manifold, just thought I'd do something different than the rc40 as that's what everyone does, I've heard the race version and that sounded awesome, and the price of the road version one £99, can't argue at that really?! Can't even buy an rc40 back box for that new! I will be building a pretty decent spec 998 so it'll be interesting to see what the results will be on that
