Hello Chaps.
I bought this earlier in the year after I sold my ranger, I have now found myself at a stage where I need something bigger so this is for sale.
Now, Please hear me out here.
I am advertising this on here with no MOT. I will give it two weeks, if it is still sat on my drive I will have MOTed it with in this time and this advert will be rectified with an altered price.
I put this in for a MOT recently and it failed on a couple of things, 3 in total. A track rod end £15, an imbalance in the rear brakes, this is because I did not reset the drivers rear when I replaced the cylinder, this needs to be adjusted/reset and will probably take an hour.
Lastly it failed on a worn top bearing in the steering column, this is part of the indicators and is £25. With this taken into account I am advertising the van with no MOT, at a reduced price, an afternoon and £40 will see an MOT on the van. If it is that simple why haven't I don't it yet? I simply struggle to find the time.
This is the 1.9TDI and it runs so well, hugely economical (had 600 miles out of a tank before). I have no history for the van but it runs so well I have doubted the 185k that is on the clock, it may have had a rebuild, it may have had a new engine, I have no idea but it runs sound.
The van will come lowered, it is on a set of MK2 golf coilovers up front and on a flipped rear beam with the adjustable lowering brackets on the rear (these are £40 on their own). I put new rear cylinders as well when we flipped the rear, problem is on one I wound the pads out and the other I didn't, hence the issue come MOT time, the N/S pads simply need to be wound out.
The van will come as you see in the photos below but with standard steel wheels (with legal tyres of course).
I will get more photos over the weekend.
Price wise. as it stands, £650ono
If I MOT it I will then advertise on ebay and other much larger outlets for £800.
I am based in Rochester, Kent.
