Hmmm, replacing a roof. Can be done. The factory use a roller welder, but I think you can do it another way. Try measuring the hole, it might fit a Webasto or something.

iv been told someone can make a good vinyle roof for me in any colour so i might stick with it,iv got the paintjob planned,what does everybody think to a mini version of the general lee from dukes of hazzard? :grin:

Normally a vinyl roof is just a skin that has to cover a standard steel roof Tidytrev. Like on the Mini 1100 Special. There needs to be some structure to support it.
A Mini General Lee would be VERY cool, especially if you weld the doors up! :wink:
Saw a Mini Blues Mobile at London-Brighton a couple of years ago, it came from Holland I think. It was great.

"There needs to be some structure to support it" there are wooden slats underneath keeping it up,im sure someone can think of a better idea on here though ) i was thinking of making an x frame or something. do you think orange would be an expensive colour for spraying?
