SPi to Carb conversion

where do you start with performance on spi's whats the best head, roller rockers, cams etc.

It realy depends what age your spi is. I've got a J reg one and my mrs a N reg, both on carbs. Il Be honest allI did was change the inlet manifold and obviously pop a carb on and bobs you uncle. Runs fine, starts fine, is fine. Ifyour injections in good fettle keep it. If you want to tune only a bit keep it,if you however want to go mental with them like we did then for cost reasons you've only got one option- carbatooter!

If you want mega tuning, and have it reliable and have the fuelling spot on, then injection is the only way to go, carb's are good but a decent injection system its better!
