I am going to buy a MINI One for my wife (52 years old), the dealer has helped to compiled a list of options and extra items. We have never owned a MINI and I am not sure if these options and extra items are really necessary. Also, are there any other options or extra items are essential which we missed out and no on our list below?

Can some of MINI owners help please?

MINI One 3 door Hatch 1.2 automatic

Options:
(1) Media Pack XL

--Navigation System Professional

--Enhanced Bluetooth with USB audio
-- MINI Connected XL

(2) Pepper Pack

-- Sport Steering Wheel

--15” Heli Spoke alloy wheels in silver

--Floor mats, velour

--Pass, seat height adjustment

--Storage compartment pack

--MINI Excitement Pack

--Rain sensor with auto, headlight activation

--Automatic Air Conditioning

--Basic interior lights Pack (Orange)

Extra:

(3) Elec Fold Exterior Mirrors

(4) Heated front windscreen

(5) Rear view camera

(6) Interiro Trim Piano Black

(7) MINI Driving Modes

(8) Park Distance Control (PDC), rear

(9) Space – saver spare wheel

(10) MINI TLC

(11) Gard X

thank you very much

Personally I'd have less gadgets and go for a Cooper?

This forum is only really about classic minis, I'd ask on mini2forum even though quite a few of us have modern ones that forum is better for the new ones.

As above if you go for the cooper model a lot of the extras listed are standard fit to the cooper. Personally I would go for option 1 (or what is not standard on the cooper) and the chilli pack as opposed to the pepper pack and on the extras not items 5 and 8 or one or the other as both are not necessary. But it is a personal choice

Moved to Motor Mouth Section.

You may getter a broader range of opinions at a BMW MINI specific forum such as http://www.mini2.com...orumsite/20499, as this is primarily a Classic Mini forum.
