I am moving house next month and will no longer have a garage so i have had to buy one of these http://www.shelterlo...oryName=Garages

It all seems well and good but i am more than a little concerned about how something like that would hold up in the weather.

I don't have any other choice so it will have to work but i wondered who else does their resto under a marquee/tent etc and how is it?

What can i do to improve the situation?

I would love to hear peoples experiences on this.

Cheers

Ben

Had the costco version on my drive for two years , bolted to floor with rawl bolts, ran lighting in there , during winter i used a 28 kw diesel heater to keep it warm whilst working , only downside is when it rains. Water will run in under sides.
They are ideal if you dont have a permanant gsrage .

I bought it off a local man who bought it when he lived in Devon from a big garden centre/wholesaler type place. He then moved here to the Isle of Wight where he now has a garage so it was never unpacked or used.

Is there any scope for a large shed in the garden?

I had a customer who did the whole restoration on his Mini in a 10x15ft shed.

There are two large sheds there already but i don't know what the condition they are in.

i wanted to build a shed there but i was concerned about costs so this will have to do

As long as it's anchored down well it should be just fine.

I need to find someone who has a load of old flywheels  :shifty:

The cover is held tight to the frame with ratchet straps which is brilliant

Who would keep a load of old flywheels?

What's opinions on fitting florescent tube lights to the inside of the roof?
