Flipfront looks absolutely cool, to bad you ain't got an engine to show off with there! Hahahaha :withstupid: :-

Don't forget the photo shoot when it's completely done!

Cheers

Mark the windscreen is out to put the dash in and finish off the demisters

Also got some black 4mm foam rubber off a mate who makes wet suits, just to do the inside of the bulkhead 30 meters of the stuff :( With all this sound proofing i might get a radio in there.

Yes dean the flip front took some working out. Did you have any bother putting you role cage bar back in after the dash ?

Yes i know what you mean. all i did was remove the steering column ( handy that everything is loose fit at the moment), put the rear clamp part in first with the bend leaning into the car, slid the foot panel mount in and pulled the topo bend out to position.

:( It had me thinking for a while, I should of removed the near side roll bar as the dash is thinner at that side.
I couldnt get the rear bit in at first till i removed the rear quarter glass.

The dash its self looks ok but it needs something more than just a digidash a bit to plain

maybe get rid of the colum switches and put some switches on the dash

And maybe some vents, I had no windows during the summer apart from the screen, i like cold air.

A bit off topic. I was talking to the guys at tts on thursday about a bit of bolt on performance 270BHP iirc.
£2k for the kit but maybe a little bit cheaper if i make some bits.

Bit more progress today. Noise issues and heat management.
15 mm rockwool with reinforced foil outers 0 rated and some ally mesh.
I think this will keep the noise down and its cheaper than cool-it mat.

We use rockwool at work too, I reckon, if I wanted to add some weight, and was concerned about the noise, I could get some free samples!
