I'm glad to here he wouldn't give you mine....I waited a long time for that "big box" to show up over here! So what's the latest from the track with his 'busa powered Monte? Last I heard he was having fun driving the car to sprints, beating all comers, and driving home (sounds like my kind of fun). Any major modifications to your car as a result of his experience with his?
Can't wait to hear more / see more on yours - defo take your camera. Yours will be a dedicated track car, yes?
Nice welding by the way.
Monte.

I think the mods were mainly the front uprights to improve the steering plus the new side skirts and front spoiler
I will be using mine on the road and the track.
Defo some drag racing, may sound boring but i have drag raced bikes for many years.
Future plans may include a supercharger and some engine mods, going to have a chat with holeshot and tts lads at the show
and a "must have" in the future would be the v8 hayabusa engine in somthing.

I wouldnt if i were you, The lads using them in the radicals are not happy bunnys apparantley, great whilst there going but the rebuilds needed are very frequent after a couple of race meetings and not cheap either, also heard of a few letting go lately aswell, brilliant peice of engineering though!!!
Cheers

I can relate to drag racing being here in the States...the most popular form of motorsport here other than NASCAR...I'm a road racer myself being more fond of F1 and GT cars....but I plan on dusting a few "fast cars" once the Monty is done or course
On your comments about motor options, does your Monte have a stock motor now (mine does)?
Oh, and to Markrally73, when are you going to show us the end of your "unzipped" video - that thing has been tormenting me for weeks?
Cheers,
Aric

do you have any links or info to problems with the v8
Aric
The busa engine is standard with 11,000 miles.
I do enjoy road racing but the problems of getting to race meetings time and money. I wil defo do one race and see where it leads.
I have a mate who has retired from the british rallycross he is showing an interest in my projects, we are planning to hire a track and use his truck to get us there.
