Yep just gathering bits for the next project :dontgetit:
I dont know if I should start a new thread or just keep this one going.
I have the urge for some serious G force. There is plenty of time and I am sorcing most (new) parts off Ebay.
Need 650cc injectors as secondarys for boost and Aquamist water next.

Got bored today and made a chain guard to keep things clean. It only weighs a couple of ounces.

Koss,

You should go into full time production, I'd buy one...seriously.

Wish my engine bay looked that clean! It never looked the same after the first cv boot split, nor the second or third......

I lost the grease nipple from the diff the first time out. It hit me in the chest, I thought I had been shot at as it rebounded off the windscreen and filled the car with grease. Thats why I replaced the first blue headlining. No cv problems to date.

Random question but.....

Ive notice on all the z-cars ive seen, the backbox comes out the opposite side to that on an a-series mini. If you wanted, could you mount it on the left hand side or not??

if not, why not lol

I believe its just a simple solution because of the chain drive location. could be plumbed to exit the other side with extra pipe.

As gizmo says really but on the R1 engine the 4 to 1 headers exit on the right, so with the tail pipe fitted directly on the headers this way, it gives the best flow.

same with my hayabusa, but could pipe to back and put "backbox"cross back then loop pipe down and out "normal" exit.
