From about '86 on the only real differences between City and Mayfair were opening rear windows, flock seats, a tacho, and the diff.
Didn't the Mayfair have alloys?
Not as standard but, they were available as an option and they were the same alloys as fitted to the Chelsea and Ritz minis.
Pre '84 the option was the mini special exacton.......
