Drove it through towns, A roads and motorway yesterday and it works so well. Put your foot down and it's amazing/an animal.Love the look of this pup, I am currently building a BMW TwinKam engine for my mini, what do you think of the engine ?

We now have the fronts set at just 2 clicks and the back at 12 clicks each. The result is hardly any torque steer and a much more balanced ride. Now I'm in the market for a nicer, and larger, steering wheel to even things out further. Thinking an OMP Corsica or Momo equivalent. Thoughts?

A little update. After driving it for a week I noticed quite a bit of torque steer (more than expected). So I had the suspension and corner weights properly set. Amazingly the back was set to 24 clicks on the right and 0 left - it was just as far out on the front too. Previous owner maybe liked it this way? Lol.

I'd go for a Momo Prototipo if it were mine mate

I've also bought a good old 11 blade fan:
I fitted this only to find the spacing still wasn't sufficient. An evening on DSN classics led to me ordering a nifty 11 inch alloy spacer and some other shiny bits (post to follow when it arrives).
This also arrived today, a B&G snap off boss to go with a new wheel and boss (not arrived yet):

A few emails later and the guys at WOSP saw me right. It turns out the current starter has the wrong spacing. So I'll have a new high-torque starter to fit some time this week too .

The oil leak has also been fixed .
I also got busy and fitted a new steering wheel and B&G quick release boss:
With the wheel:
From the side:
Oh and the new DSN drop bracket:
