who thinks this event should be held at santapod ????

what about a mini show / v dub show into one ?

It wont be another Minis vs Beetle as there is already one of those, it will be for all types of 'Dubs' and all types of minis. Not sure bout those new ones tho. A show n shine and a general get together is on the cards.

A central location is paramount thus various venues in the middle of the country will need to be analysed.

What a top idea. i've always loved Vee Dubyas, especially the campers. Clearly not as much as my Mini though!

Midlands would be ideal too, lots of prospective places. just to throw one into the mix: The 3 counties show ground in Malvern.

Don't know whether or not you were thinking more central midlands as opposed to West. Good links for transport though off the M5 and of course our friends from over the border in the nicest county of England!

A game for the VW owners is take an engine out of a VW and put it in a VW next to it, under 5 mins... easy. only 3 bolts and a hoist Forgot what the current record is, somthing like 3 mins 24 secs or something...

Billing or Santa pod.... Couldn't give a @"£$!! just organise it and i will be there... with my big barbeque, 3K PA rig and lots of beer... you'd have to bring your own music though, unless you don't mind listening to my eagles collection.

Santa Pod would be ace to have a mini show/ drunken weekend.. or both

santa pod would be a possiblity as i can see it being fun watch minis vs bugs on the drag

but then again this has already been done and i feel soemthing original would be better, ideas like the swap an engine would be fun and everyone could join in, not just the people willing to maxx their cars on the strip

good idea my 2 fav cars are mini and camper, my 3 fav are mini beetle and campers. also like mk1 gti gold
