Just regarding MOTs, when the vehicle becomes MOT exempt, part of the stipulation is that the brake system hasnt been radically changed from orignal, unless it is an upgrade to make it better or safer.

I can't see that removing the servo in their eyes would be an improvement.

My only other consideration is insurance and whether you have to declare it or not.

I know a traffic cop and if you catch him on a bad day he pulls cars apart and if he sees anything out of the norm he'll contact the insurance company to make sure its declared.
If not it would mean their insurance is void. Not meaning to rain on your parade just an awareness more than anything.
