As the title says "Ashtray clock"

Im thinking about reproducing them and was wanting to gauge interest and know roughly what people would be willing to pay to see if it is viable.

They would be available with the surround in many different colours and many different LCD colours.

What you all think?

I was lucky enough to find one, but wanted more.

They are great, I'd recon if reasonably priced, they sell.

Far more useful than the ashtray.

What sort of price do you have in mind to sell them at?

I too have been looking for one of these for years and finally got my hand on one at the weekend, this is what has made me think about reproducing them.

Integrated battery is a very good idea and i will investigate.

I have been in contact with a friend of mine who produces aircraft instruments, he is happy that it will be easy to make a mould and copy of the original and then modify as required for different looks, clocks etc. We have even discuses the possibility of other products that could be used in the same way, 12v socket etc.

As for price of the clocks, that would vary on what clock is used and options etc, but i would say between £15-£30

They sold out before and so presumably would sell again.  I seem to remember they were actually a Renault part that Mini Spares bought all remaining stock of.

There will be lots of versions available if all goes well, not just clocks but lots of plug and play easy fit applications, Gauges, chargers, display screens, you name it and if there is a demand it can be made.
