Hi all,
I have a spit that I used up for sale:
It's a scaffold pole type, I can't find any pictures at the mo, so going to describe it as best I can:
You have two A frames, joined by two lengths of 6x2 timber, with casters on the bottom (brakes on the casters also)
The top of the A frame has a scaffold clip attached, which holds the scaffold pole in place,
There is one fixing that screws to the front bulk head (3 of the 4 screws lined up perfectly with existing holes, the 4th I drilled, although you prob could just bend the fixing looking back in hindsight.
The rear fixing bolts to the rear bulkhead (panel behind the back seats) which leaves the wheel arches and suspension mount free.
Both fixings have grub screws that stop the shell from spinning freely
Worked pretty well, my mini was on it for the better part of a six months and I couldn't fault it.
My mini was a saloon, but don't think it would be long enough for an estate.
Will try and get some photo's up if I can find them.
I want £50 collected, bear in mind this is quite long.
Located in Enfield, Middlesex I can be contacted on 07703321219 if you are interested.
Regards,
Dave.
